Thanks to Pascal Venier of Productivity Workflows I have the original text of my guestblogging post again. For archiving-reasons, I will re-post it here.Almost back, guestbloggers invited
Hello my valued readers. Yes I am still alive. Thanks for all your email and messages whether I was still Getting Things Done. I took a nice long break from this weblog to commit myself to some other projects and valuable things in my life. But we are slowly coming back to speed with What's The Next Action. What did I do the past three months?
Well, most of the time I was Twittering the night away :-) Yes, I am officially hooked on this
microblogging-tool. Research has shown I am somewhat of a Twitter-Star,
whatever that means.
Ofcourse I have been following the growth of my young
daughter Tess, she is almost one year old now. And I have been very busy at
work and within my role as chairman of the Dutch Bloggies, a foundation (in
progress) for the dutch blogosphere with which we publish a dutch webzine and organize the annual weblogawards.
I have also
been working on the sideline on a dutch version of this website. But bigger.
Together with some other lifehackers and GTD-fans in the Netherlands we are
creating a new dutch website covering GTD, lifehacking and personal management.
We plan to go live in september but you never know :-)
Does this mean you can expect new articles on this blog from now on? Well
no…not yet. First I will go on a short vacation with my family to a
internet-disabled part of France (I hope) to really get away from it all. I will
be back mid-september and I know I need the last weeks of september for a couple
of big projects, the ones I mentioned above. So my plan is beginning october, I
will be back on this site.
In the meantime, I decided to pick up on a
request I got from Craig Huggart, writer on the excellent Tech Rest weblog. He will publish some
guestposts here during the coming period. But wait, there's more! Do you also
want to have a guest spot on this blog? I am opening up for guestwriters to come
and join What's The Next Action.
Sounds like an easy trick to fill up the
spare time? Maybe, but during my work on the Dutch website I realized I can't
write it all myself. Having a weblog, tons of ideas for articles and little time
to write it all, I decided that having multiple authors mught give some more
variety in writing, give new light on known topics and also provides space for
those who want to work on their personal branding.
Please leave a comment or
email me directly if you are interested in guestblogging. I haven't figured out
all the nuts and bolts of it, but we'll find that out along the way. Natural
Planning Model 2.0 we might call that :-)
